How Ageism Affects Our Lives: A Webinar

Ageism is often referred to as "the last acceptable ism." It's present in media, social forums, and even politics, impacting individuals and communities in significant ways. While we often associate ageism with older adults, it can affect people of all ages, creating challenges for both younger and older adults.

On September 26th, we held our first webinar in our series on ageism, where Janine Vanderburg, Dr. Sonja Rosen, and Kyrié Carpenter explored everything from gendered ageism, to ageism in healthcare, to innovations in intergenerational living - plus discussed the roots of ageism in the US and how it is felt across work, healthcare, and community.
