On October 23rd, Russ Hill talked with Ken and Martha about the Stanford Center on Longevity’s New Map of Life project, what inspired him to write Optimizing Longevity, and how it has changed his life.
Russ T. Hill is the Executive Chairman of Halbert Hargrove Global Advisors LLC, where he has worked for more than five decades. A Stanford University Alum, Russ holds both a BA in Economics and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, where his commitment to fostering solutions to age-related challenges led him to play an early role at the Stanford Center on Longevity. He initiated the center's Design Challenge Series in 2014, provided the impetus for their multi-year longevity and well-being project, The New Map of Life, and currently Chairs the SCL Advisory Council. Russ has also dedicated much of his time and expertise to various community initiatives and boards in the fields of healthcare, education, and local businesses.
