CENTURY SUMMIT
The 2020 Century Summit, which was held virtually on December 9th, 10th, 14th and 15th, brought together top leaders in business, media, policy and research to discuss the implications of the 100-year life. Convened in collaboration with the Stanford Center on Longevity, the Century Summit offered leaders an opportunity to present new visions on how society can restructure work, reorganize cities, enhance lifelong learning, create new financial security and promote greater health and vitality in the new age of longevity.

Senator Bob Casey and Ken Stern, Chair of the Longevity Project, discuss how America should take care of its elderly population.
9:30 – 10:00am: Extending the Second Half of Life
The panelists reflect on the importance of shifting from treating disease to preventing disease, barriers to the preventative care model, the ethics of a 100-year life, and changes needed in our healthcare system.
